If you are registered – THANK YOU – and a couple of reminders as we get closer to race day – Saturday September 7, 2019
- Venue opens for camping set-up at 12 pm on Friday September 6. Vehicle access is $10/car, $20/camper/RV. CASH ONLY, please. Spots are all primitive (no water, power, etc) and first come available basis. Be respectful and share the space. Pack out what you pack in – there is not trash service.
- While the typical Arizona monsoon pattern has been fairly quiet in 2019, the event does have a Weather Plan in place. Expect cool morning temperatures, day time temps in the mid 70’s and late-day rain. We will keep an eye on the forecast for race day, and let you know if there are any storms expected.
- There will be fifty (50) Qualifying Slots available to the Cowboy/Cowgirl category race finishers (under 8.5 hrs) for the 2020 Leadville MTB 100. Almost half of those slots will be available through a lottery drawing at the Awards Ceremony at 4 pm Saturday afternoon. Do not leave early – stay for Awards, and maybe get the Coin.
Maybe not ready for the 100 mile race? We offer shorter distance races for individuals – 25 and 50 mile. And we have the Rustler category for 50 mile duo teams – that’s 25 miles each! Certainly, something for everyone! More information here.
Each registered ADULT participant receives two (2) drink tickets – Historic brewing has prepared a special brew for the event. Every redeemed ticket = $5.00 donation by the event to Flagstaff Biking Organization.
BigFoot BBQ returns for another year – serving awesome BBQ starting at 11:00 a.m. on race day. Menu TBD, and expect prices to be around $7.00 for a great meal. Bring your cash or credit card.
Absolute Bikes will be on-site for the last minute MINOR repairs. Thanks ABSOLUTE!
